-When telling Callum hows she feels about her past. -Crying to Callhum when he almost die. -Smiling when she saw the sign.(don't want to spoil)
Sympathy-
-Show this feeling when stealing a piece of bread from another human and only taking half when the human confronts her. -Not killing the humans when they notice her in the house when they can easily report the escapees. -Not killing the scientists when she is rescuing the reboot from the Reboot centers.
Quotes to support the answer-
-"No, will you stay?"(277) In the time of the book Wren and Callum has found Callum's past house and they were staying there for the night. She is asking Callum to stay near her in the room. She is how will I say "scared" of being alone again. She scared of being in room with no one to "share" her pain,
-""Stop," I said, pointing the gun directly at the man."We won't hurt you; we just want food.""(260) During the time, Callum had smelled meat and has led himself to a dumpster and two humans has notice them. Before engaging on them she hs hold herself back by telling them to stop. Requesting food nothing more. Nothing less. Giving the two human to live longer.
Final summary of how she change-
Wren is a ruthless killer. That only cares about her own survival. She is viewed as a monster to both of her kind and the other Harc members. She has shown this by not showing emotion that is positive or neutral. Later on she has acquire emotions that even humans at the time of the book cant experienced. Almost like a robot developing emotions at a pace of her learning herself. She has shown compassion and sympathy. She is a person even when she not. Even when she is a reboot viewed as a monster. Viewed as a killer. She accepted the face she is different. She knows that someone cares about her and that all she needs. In conclusion, She is a human. Thats all.
